Started by Leo Ellman in 1999 as a wireless application company, Mobile-Link Wireless has since grown to be a master dealer, selling Sprint, Nextel and Tmobile wireless products throughout the Our Philosophy The key metric in any business is to be profitable. Sales can fluctuate with promotions and the typical business cycles throughout the year. Plus, when getting started, it’s quite easy for new business partners to get excited and overly optimistic, which can lead to skipping key launch steps in the face of unbridled enthusiasm. Our approach from the start combines realistic expectations and tempered optimism with each new venture. It is our job to make sure that the new relationship with you is a good fit, that it is capitalized appropriately, follows the carrier key requirements, and finally gives you additional training to enhance your management skills as needed. We like to think we’re a sophisticated, technology-driven company, but yet we’re also down-to-earth and approachable. We strive to bring wireless technology down to a level you and your customers can easily relate to, feel comfortable with, and ultimately purchase. Products and Services We help you sell wireless handset devices, aircards, PDA devices, and accessories ranging from cases, car chargers to Bluetooth headsets, signal enhancers and on-site wireless handset repair. We represent Sprint, Nexel and T-Mobile Carrier Relationships We are a master dealer of Sprint/Nextel and T-Mobile. Both companies are solid players in the wireless market today and have their own set of unique strengths. As technology and signal capabilities are enhanced, Sprint/Nextel will be at the forefront of new options and features that have been a staple for both Sprint and Nextel. This will help drive traffic, sales and create the right environment for solid, ongoing customer relationships. What’s more, our affiliated company has connections with additional wireless carriers. T-Mobile continues to lead with aggressive rate plans and in launching unique customer offerings such as flex-pay and my faves. We help set up a customized business development plan for you. This includes strategies to market your retail location and use market development funds (MDF) for the products you offer to businesses and consumers in your immediate and surrounding market area. Sometimes this has been completed informally or as part of a bigger marketing push from the corporate level. In either case, we consult with you to maximize your co-op dollars and the available MDF for the best return on your marketing dollars invested. Technology-Driven Like our products, our business processes and communication systems have become more sophisticated as well. We are in the process of refining commission data entry and reporting to eliminate data entry errors or miscommunication. Commissions Due to the size and growth of Mobile-Link Wireless, we’re able to offer very competitive compensation rates for activations. We aggregate our numbers with all of our stores and thus can pass along better commissions and incentive bonuses for high-volume individual store sales. Management Profiles Leo Ellman Leo is in charge of the sales and marketing aspects of your store operation. He handles all aspects of order entry, trouble-shooting activation issues and negotiating with the carriers on your behalf. Plus, he helps plan marketing initiatives and close on potential business opportunities. Mike Doll, CPA (inactive) Mike Doll is Mobile-Link’s CFO and oversees all accounting, human resource, commission and administration functions. In addition, Mike works in a consultative role with prospective retail partners, providing support with company incorporation, state filings, insurance, accounting, human resource, lease negotiation and any other activities associated with a new business.
